Trio of Beauties

My aunt Lisa's 50th birthday is coming up so I wanted to help my cousins Miki, Aly and Baylee do something special for her. Let me tell you...it is quite the challenge to get three teenage girls out of bed and ready by 10am. But, we managed and got some great shots! I am IN LOVE with the blue doors at St. Kate's Our Lady of Victory Chapel. We also ventured over to the Como Park Pavilion to do some interesting shots on one of the pianos from the "Pianos on Parade". It was a fun day with my cousins. I sure will miss Aly when she goes off to college.

 

Happy birthday to my puppy!

My sister and I share a dog (ok it's really hers but I spend more time with her because I'm off in the summer).  Anyway, her name is FInch and she turned ONE ! I couldn't resist making a birthday hat and decorations for her. I also made her wear them and "stay" while I took pictures. No worries, she got plenty of treats.  I love this girl....

Faber Family Fun

My friends Beth and Justin wanted to do an urban photo shoot for some fun, different family photos. We survived the 80% humidity but only with frequent trips to the car for an a/c break. I love the vibrant colors in these shots! 

Maxwell

Maxwell is such a sweet baby who recently turned one. He has this adorable pout to his lips so even when he isn't smiling he has this priceless expression and it was so much fun to chase him around and capture his personality. I work with his mom. Alison and Jake have a home that seems like it has been torn out of a magazine. They love the boating/sailing theme and Max's dad built him his own sailboat. See for yourself...

Maria is going to be a mom!

My friend Maria and her husband DeLonn are expecting their first child at the end of August. They know they are having a girl and they are pretty sure they will name her Ella. It was an eventful photo shoot in downtown Wayzata. Right away Maria locked her keys...and all of her outfit changes in her car. They tried using a coat hanger, a concerned passerby even helped. I ended up calling AAA and they saved the day. Here are some fun ones from the evening.

Aly's Senior Prom

My aunt asked me if I would take pictures of my cousin Aly before they went to prom. Aly and I had picked out her prom shoes together so I was thrilled to get to see her all dolled up. Wow!
